Introduction

I have battled with my weight and my love/hate relationship with food my whole adult life - and this will be my 4th "serious" attempt in the last 4 years.

This time last year I was 2lbs off my goal weight, stopped smoking (old excuse i know!) and put it all back on and then some!

This will be the 1st time I've admitted to anyone just how overweight I am, and what a public way to do it!!!!! EEEK

My hope is that it will give me the motivation and hard kick up the arse that I need to fight and win this battle!!

Week 2 - Weigh In

Well this week has consisted of a trip to the Scottish Cup Final, where lots of "bad" food and drink was consumed - we lost btw :(  but still had an amazing day and night out :)

I have somehow managed to lose 1 lb - not quite sure i deserve it!

I have also decided that using Slimming World as a basis is not working for me, I'm not comfortable with it, as I feel I'm eating far too much and things that I don't feel "right" eating so I'm going back to my old faithful and I'm writing EVERYTHING down!

Also this week I have somehow managed to pull my calf muscle, so no Wii Fit or walking this week :(

Hopefully this won't take too long to heal

Week 1 - Weigh In

Well everybody has a big loss on their 1st week right?? - WRONG!!

I only lost half a pound this week :(  I know it's better than no loss at all, but I have done so much exercise this week - at least 30 minutes every day of proper, hard exercise, plus my normal running about after Cara!

I really am gutted.............................................

Diet and Fitness

I have followed the "old" Weight Watchers plan since i was about 18 lol! 

I reached goal weight in November 2005, after losing 2 stone.  I promptly fell pregnant in the December of that year and have really struggled since!  I have too many vices - wine, cheese, pasta, crisps, wine! - all the things that are bad! 

I have managed to cut it all down (including the wine!!)  but boy do I like a bottle of wine!! ;-) ( are you seeing a pattern?!)

The old Weight Watchers plan did work for me, but I could never seem to keep the weight off.  I am currently following my own healthy eating plan, based loosely on Slimming World and trying to get fit along the way!

I don't like exercise!!  I have only ever enjoyed one sport, badminton, when i was younger, and I was very good at it, but no longer have anyone to play a decent game with.  My big problem with exercise is that if I'm not instantly good at something I won't try it again!!

So my exercise regime will now be 5 nights doing 30 - 40 minutes on the Wii Fit, and (hopefully) 2 nights walking with my Mum.

I've been doing my Wii Fit for a week, and now I'm starting to find it easier so I'm hoping it's doing the trick!

A little more background

Those of you who know me well have witnessed the vast array of image attempts, hairstyles and sizes I have been over the years! 
I have been overweight for the most part of the last 10 years, apart from a small spell in early 2000 when (believe it or not!) I was a size 10!
Thankfully this did not last long as it was caused through ill health and believe me when I say I did NOT look good! 
So..........I have been a size 10, weighing in at just under 9 stone, and I have been a size 18, weighing in at a whopping 14 and a half stone!
I NEVER want to be either again!
I have set my goal at a healthy size 12, weighing around 11 stone and hope to get to be half way to that goal but the Autumn - so wish me luck and if you have any tips, feel free!!
